Hi!
My name is Kim, I am originally from Geneva - Switzerland and truly discovered the world of tattooing in 2017.
I originally started as a handpoke artist then slowly shifted towards machine work. I do still work with handpoke but on only certain projects.

My style originated from inspirations of symbols throughout different cultures around the world. That sense of sacredness, something ancestral and mystical always fascinated me. The act of transforming through art and pain is truly sacred to me.
Throughout the adventure around my style, I kept being pulled into more futuristic looking patterns. Kind of like ancient-technology, almost alien looking, mother-board designs… Put onto the body I thought, well, this looks a lot like tribal designs. So I thought why not be inspired from Ancient art and translate it into our modern world.

Although, it is hard for me to pin-point an exact meaning to my art, I find myself in constant re-discovering through a more emotional view. What does my art make me feel, what is makes other people feel. In which head-space do I put myself in when I create new designs. I always preferred staying in a more abstract feeling rather than labeling my art. Mainly because I find myself adding new details or directions in a lot of my new stuff… Merging the intention of my patterns with the chaos of my inspiration…

But then, meaningful or not, transformative or not, tattoos are tattoos and sometimes we don’t need much explanation to feel an attraction to a design. Sometimes, finding a cool design and wanting to put it on our skin is truly enough to me.
♢ The Ancient-Ōnes ♢
When I first started handpoking, I wanted to specialize in Symbolism. I quickly realized that although I was attracted to some of those symbols, I couldn’t fully integrate them as they were not part of my culture. So I thought… why not creating my own symbols?
By letting the client choose the one they connected the most with, I started to experience the most powerful sessions.
Those symbols aren’t meant to be defined by « luck » or « abundance » (unless you want them to)
I think it is deeper than that, a more abstract feeling. I have to get myself in a very specific mood or zone to get them on paper.
I had people reference this to Sigil-work — I do truly believe in the power of tattooing and the power it brings.
All of them are intended to be unique.
Pick the one you feel drawn to. Give it the meaning you need. It is yours.
